Spice Girls Reunite for 2019 U.K. Tour

Get ready, Spice Girls fans! Four of the five original Spice Girls are reuniting for a six-show tour throughout the United Kingdom in 2019.

On Monday, Spice Girls fans around the world freaked the geek out when they learned Baby (Emma Bunton), Ginger (Geri Halliwell), Scary (Mel Brown), and Sporty (Mel Chisholm) would reunite for a six-show reunion tour through the United Kingdom next year. Posh (Victoria Beckham) will not participate in the next year’s U.K. tour. Opening for four-fifths of the British pop powerhouse is fellow English pop songstress Jess Glynne. The tour marks the first time the Spice Girls will perform together since 2012

In a tweet posted this morning, the four Spice Girls announced that tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10:30 am.

On Instagram, Posh posted a statement about why she was not joining the upcoming reunion tour.

Throughout 2018, rumors about the girl power quintet reuniting abounded, beginning in February when Posh posted a candid photo of her and the four other members of the Spice Girls on Instagram. A few months later, Scary went on the Today show and said the group was going to embark on a world tour.

Spice Girls’ fans from all walks of life took to social media to share their excitement about the news that their favorite 90s girl group was returning to the stage together (almost). On Instagram, Adele showed everyone that she’s probably the most ardent Spice Girls fan of all.
